日本とのつながり37〜ブナ林〜

ドイツ、スロヴァキア、ウクライナには原始の姿を残すブナ林が見られる。

キンメフクロウなども生息している。

ドイツでは15カ所が登録され、その面積は360㎢にもなる。

古城やビールのみならず美しい自然も味わいたい。

日本の白神山地でもブナの原生林が見られる。

これは氷河に覆われることと人里離れた険しい山岳地であったことが大きい。

この山地は隆起の速度が速く、多様な植生を生み出した。

カモゲラやニホンカモシカなどの姿が見られる。

青森県と秋田県にまたがる世界遺産だ。

原始のブナ林の姿を見た時に、人は息を呑むのかもしれない。

 This is largely due to glaciers and remote, rugged mountainous areas.

 This mountainous area has a high uplift rate and produces various vegetation.

 You can see figures such as Black woodpecker and Japanese serows.

 It is a world heritage site that spans Aomori and Akita prefectures.

 People may take a breather when they see the pristine beech forest.
