15世紀後半になると、コロンブスの新大陸発見やヴァスコ＝ダ＝ガマによるインド航路発見など、ヨーロッパ勢力の世界進出が始まる。

この大航海時代の到来によってスペイン・ポルトガルは世界の覇権を握りつつあった。

また、フィレンツェではルネサンスが始まり、教会中心の社会が、人間中心の社会へと変革を遂げた。

そして、レオナルド＝ダ＝ヴィンチのような卓越した才能を発揮する人物が現れ、これは学問のあり方を根本から覆すことになる。

ヨーロッパで起きたこの2つの出来事は世界史を大きく変えていくこととなる。

中東ではオスマン帝国がバルカン半島の大半を制圧し、さらなる拡大を狙っていた。

中国では明王朝がモンゴル人の侵攻に苦しむ。

日本は戦国時代へと突入した。

世界の出会いが近づいてきている。

 In the second half of the 15th century, European powers began to expand globally, such as the discovery of the new continent of Columbus and the discovery of the Indian route by Vasco-da-Gama.

 With the advent of this era of great voyage, Spain and Portugal began holding the hegemony of the world.

 In China, the Ming Dynasty suffers from Mongolian invasion.

 Japan entered the Warring States Period.

 Encounters around the world are approaching.
