日本とのつながり35〜屋根〜

イタリア南部にアルベロベッロのトゥルッリがある。

これは石灰石を円錐状に積み上げてできた住居群だ。

真っ白い姿が壮観である。

そして、屋根は部屋の数だけあり、固定されていない

この屋根はナポリの役人が税金を取り立てに来た際に、いつでも壊せるような造りになっている。

一方、日本には岐阜県に合掌造りの集落がある。

この地域には両手を合わせたような形の茅葺屋根が見られ、傾斜は45〜60度と急勾配である。

豪雪地帯であるため、雪を落ちやする造りになっている。

住居の屋根に注目すると、外観でも機能面でも面白い特徴を見出せる。

Connection with Japan 35 ~ Roof ~

 Trulli of Alberobello is located in southern Italy.

 This is a group of houses made of limestone piled up in a cone.

 The pure white appearance is spectacular.

 And the roof is the number of rooms, not fixed

 The roof is designed so that it can be destroyed whenever a Neapolitan official comes to collect taxes.

 On the other hand, in Japan, there is a gassho-style village in Gifu prefecture.

 The area has a thatched roof that looks like a combination of both hands, with a steep slope of 45 to 60 degrees.

 Since it is a heavy snowfall area, it is designed to reduce snow.

 Focusing on the roof of the house, you can find interesting features in terms of appearance and functionality.
