Connection with Japan 57 ~ Trading power ~

Okinawa was once called the Ryukyu Kingdom, and Japan and China.

It flourished in the relay trade with Southeast Asia.

Naha is the center of politics, economy, and culture, and Shuri Castle is the residence of the King.

In addition, the castles of the aristocrats of the time when the Ryukyu kingdom was divided into three and fought were left in various places.

The place is the spiritual source of the inhabitants, surrounded by a stunning stone wall.

You can feel the prosperity and war of the former kingdom.

Similarly, Malaysia's Melaka is a prosperous trading city.

It once flourished as a Malacca kingdom in the 14th and 15th centuries, and was visited by merchants from former empires around the world such as China, Turkey, and Egypt.

In addition, the Strait of Malacca, which connects the Pacific Ocean and the Indian Ocean, has become the target of competition for the European powers.

It will make you think about how to utilize trading power.
