日本とのつながり53〜キリスト教の魅力〜

キリスト教の魅力は宗教の価値に気づかせてくれる。

長崎と天草地方には、江戸時代に弾圧から逃がれた潜伏キリシタンたちの集落などが残されている。

江戸幕府はキリスト教の拡大に恐怖を感じ、踏絵を実施した。

キリスト教は禁止された。

しかし、驚くべきことに人々は隠れ、250年間も密かに信仰を続けた。

トルコのギョレメ国立公園でも洞窟の中にキリスト教の岩窟聖堂が見られる。

やはり、ローマ帝国やイスラーム教の弾圧から逃れて築かれた。

信仰を守るために、人目のつかない場所に移動し、信仰を続ける。

命を賭して。

宗教が何を人間に与えるのかについて考えざるを得ない。

Connections with Japan 53 ~The charm of Christianity~

 The charm of Christianity reminds us of the value of religion.

 In Nagasaki and the Amakusa region, there are villages of hidden Christians who escaped the oppression during the Edo period.
