Connection with Japan 65-New Discovery-

In the second half of the 15th century, European powers began to expand globally, such as the discovery of the new continent of Columbus and the discovery of the Indian route by Vasco-da-Gama.

With the advent of this era of great voyage, Spain and Portugal began holding the hegemony of the world.

In Florence, the Renaissance began and the church-centered society transformed into a human-centered society.

Then, people with outstanding talents, such as Leonardo da Vinci, appear, and this fundamentally changes the method of scholarship.

These two events in Europe will change world history greatly.

In the Middle East, the Ottoman Empire dominated most of the Balkans, aiming for further expansion.

In China, the Ming Dynasty suffers from Mongolian invasion.

Japan entered the Warring States Period.

Encounters around the world are approaching.

Connection with Japan 64-Traces-

Ancient tumuli can be seen in Osaka Prefecture.

These burial mounds are said to have been built from the latter half of the 4th century to the latter half of the 5th century.

The largest burial mound is 486m long, and when you go to the site, it only looks like a forest.

This is the mausoleum of the Emperor, and it is so huge that you can finally grasp the whole picture from the sky.

On the other hand, the largest pyramid in Egypt has a height of 150m, and about 2.3 million stones weighing 2.5t on average are used.

There are various shapes of pyramids, such as square pyramids and stepped ones.

The Pyramid is believed to be the tomb of the king, but the exact purpose and method of construction are still unknown.

The mystery remains, but you can feel the traces of a large civilization from a huge building.

In Japan, the Kamakura Shogunate collapsed, and the rivalry between the two lines of the emperor's family led to more than 50 years of upheaval involving the samurai.

It's a century of confusion, but it's also a century that makes us feel the next big unification.

Connection with Japan 60 ~ Ancient City ~

For more than 1000 years since the Heian period, Kyoto, the capital of Japan, has been condensed with history and war.

Many powerhouse buildings and large temples of the time were burned down.

Once upon a time, the octagonal nine-storied pagoda was seen.

There was also the burning down of a large temple.

The Onin Rebellion, which marked the dawn of the age of provincial wars, took place in the Japanese capital for about 11 years.

A historical change of government was also achieved.

Kyoto is a city that knows both sour and sweet Japanese, and the source of Japanese culture is here.

On the other hand, the capital of the ancient dynasty of China is also located in Xi'an, China and has a history of more than 2000 years.

Heian Kyo(the ancient capital in Kyoto) was also modeled on Xian.

I want to cherish the atmosphere of a historical city.

 Connection with Japan 59 ~Overwhelming~

The 13th century is called the Mongolian century.

It is well known that the great empire of all time was built.

 Its strength shook the world.

In 1206 Genghis-Khan unified the Mongolian plateau.

He buried the surrounding cavalry dynasties and destroyed Islamic dynasties such as Iran in the process of spreading the print.

It is said that he finally invaded Europe and defeated the Polish-German Union Army.

In the latter half of the 13th century, it ruled Korea and the Song Dynasty of China.

On the other hand, there are some examples of failure during the expedition of this mighty Mongol Empire.

That is Egypt, Java, and Japan.

The 23-year-old young Hojo Tokune was responsible for the Japanese administration at this time.

It is not hard to imagine the struggle of the samurai who repelled Mongolia (there were many Chinese and Korean troops) twice.
